Dr. Jenny Mochtar earned her Master’s degree in Literature from Arizona State University and her Doctorate from Universitas Indonesia.

She teaches courses including Popular Literature and Seminar in ECI. Her primary research interests lie in Indonesian popular literature, popular culture, and gender studies.

Dr. Jenny has published extensively in these areas, contributing articles to various academic journals and presenting her work at both national and international conferences.

In her leisure time, she enjoys shopping, playing Paradise Bay, and watching Korean dramas.

Dr. Jenny served as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs from 2017 to 2021 and currently holds the position of Head of the Quality Assurance Office.
